■Agenda
Participants exchanged views on standard requirement investigation, new energy car, smart grid and EMC, nuclear power instrumentation on severe accidents, personal protective equipment and ISO/IEC cooperation, and agreed to mutually provide support in those fields.

■Outcome
The Forum adopted the three items for the next new cooperation:
- Test methods for thermal conductivity of electronic circuit board for high-brightness LEDs guidelines
- Electrical scanning probe microscopy
- Testing procedure for deck equipment of vessel intended for cold climate region

* Discussed information-sharing and joint research on standards cooperation between the Korea and China.
* Discussed cooperation methods for invigorating the Northeast Asian Standards Cooperation Forum.
* Discussed methods of executing the joint acceptance of trademarks to boost trade for the three countries.

■Agenda
Prior to the Plenary Meeting, the two Ad hoc committee meetings, i.e., on home network and design automation, were held. The Steering Committee meeting was held to discuss the mid-term strategy of CJK-SITE as well as the establishment of a new ad hoc committee for service-oriented architecture. At the Plenary Meeting, the participants reported the current status of the two Ad hoc committees, discussed the possibility of cooperating with NEAS Forum and exchanged views on “Green IT”.

■Agenda
The participants decided to establish two new ad hoc committees for RFID and hazardous substances label. With this decision, the three countries prepared momentum to reduce confusion and cut down management expenses in the transaction of electronic products containing hazardous substances among the three countries.
