Others Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup Met with the Head of the Korea China Association for Cultural Exchange

On March 4, 2024, Ms. QU Huan, Head of the Korea China Association for Cultural Exchange (KCACE) paid a visit to the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) and exchanged talks with the Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup and Deputy Secretary-General YAN Liang. Both organizations introduced their primary missions and roles, extending invitations to each other for future events. TCS and KCACE pledged to enhance their partnership through various events.
Ms. QU Huan congratulated the selection of "Exchange(交流)” as the CJK Spirit word of the year 2024 and shared stories of cultural exchanges among the three countries related to tea, drinks, and calligraphy. SG Lee emphasized that through active cultural exchanges, relations among the three countries would further improve and appealed for support from KCACE. Additionally, he expressed the hope that TCS and KCACE would continue to collaborate in the future to deepen their connections.
TCS has collaborated with KCACE in various aspects, including the crested ibis international forum and exchanges between local cities, aligning with one of the TCS's visions of 'Shared Culture.' Both organizations have consistently conducted trilateral exchange and cultural programs, and they plan to explore further possibilities for collaboration in the future.
KCACE is one of the major cultural exchange organizations between the ROK and China established in 2003 with an aim to promote mutual friendships between the two countries.
