On January 25, 2024, Secretary-General LEE Heesup of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) had a meeting with the Director-General OH Jinhee of Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), and exchanged views on the important agendas of health cooperation. 

Director-General OH underscored the significance of analyzing the impact of climate change on communicable and non-communicable diseases as a pivotal agenda for the health sector in the post-COVID era. She acknowledged that efforts such as implementing monitoring systems and exchanging best practices among neighboring countries are crucial in this regard. Expressing unwavering commitment, she hoped to work together with the TCS towards adopting these issues as vital agendas in future health cooperation among the three countries. Highlighting the importance of enhancing substantive cooperation that benefits the everyday lives of the people of the three countries, Secretary-General LEE expressed hope for meaningful achievements to be made in public health through future collaboration with the KDCA.
