Seminar & Forum SG LEE delivered video remark at the Shibadong Forum on Poverty Alleviation and Development

On November 3rd, the Shibadong Forum on Poverty Alleviation and Development is hosted in Xiangxi, Hunan, China, with the theme of “Poverty Alleviation Experience Sharing for the Building of Beautiful and Harmonious Village”. The forum is organized by the Information Office of the People’s Government of Hunan Province, China International Communications Group, International Poverty Reduction Center in China, and Hunan Provincial Rural Revitalization Bureau. SG LEE is invited to deliver a congratulatory remark.
In his remark, SG LEE emphasized the fundamental and crucial role of villages in the development of East Asia. He also pointed out that,
the rural poverty has become an increasingly prominent issue, and new policies and actions are required. Recalling the Trilateral Agricultural Minister’s Meeting (TAMM) and the first Trilateral Young Rural Leaders Exchange Program organized by TCS, he encouraged the three countries to learn the experiences in rural revitalization, and to advance poverty reduction and sustainable development in East Asia.
