TC Activities Trilateral Crested Ibis Children Program 2019.07.10 ~ 2019.07.11

TCS organized Trilateral Crested Ibis Children Program on July 10-12, 2019 in line with the Crested Ibis International Forum 2019 in Seoul on July 11, 2019. 

 

19 elementary school students from Changnyeong County of the ROK (Myeongdeok Elementary School), Sado City of Japan (Gyouya Elementary School) and Yang County of China (Qingnianlu Elementary School) participated in the program. 

 

As the main activities of the program, the participating students provided joint performance of Korean crested ibis song, and special performance from each school on the occasion of Crested Ibis International Forum 2019 in Seoul. Japanese students made a presentation on their volunteer activities in Toki Forest Park as well as sung a Japanese crested ibis song. Chinese students made a variety of performances including crested ibis calligraphy, crested ibis dance, Chinese violin and electronic keyboard. Korean students also made two kinds of crested ibis songs and dance show.

 

During the program, students engaged in active interaction to deepen mutual friendship and had a meaningful cultural exchange among them. In addition, students participated in study tour and enjoyed site visits such as Bamseom Ecological Experience Center and Namsan Seoul Tower.
