On July 9, 2025, 2025, Secretary-General of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS), LEE Hee-sup, met with Ms. YUAN Lanlan, Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone (CDHT) Management Committee Deputy Director-General, on the sidelines of Re:Think 2025 Innovation Week in Chengdu.
LEE Hee-sup commended the CHDT as a key hub for innovation cooperation in Sichuan Province, promoting the digital economy and cultural industries among the three countries. In particular, the establishment of the China-Korea Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park and the China-Japan Reception Hall demonstrates CHDT’s commitment to deepening trilateral collaboration.
YUAN Lanlan introduced the development history of the CHDT and highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation with Japan and the ROK following the 8th Trilateral Summit held in Chengdu. She expressed the hope to deepen collaboration with the TCS, particularly in the areas of culture and tourism.
