The Trilateral Journalist Exchange Program 2019

The Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) is now recruiting journalists who will participate in this year’s Trilateral Journalist Exchange Program (TJEP) which is scheduled to be held from June 12 to 21, 2019. 

The TJEP is designed to provide opportunities for mutual exchange and understanding among journalists of China, Japan, and the ROK. This year’s theme is CJK Culturally Diverse and Sustainable Cities. Participants will visit the Shenzhen, Tokyo and Seoul respectively.

Participants

4 journalists each from China, Japan, and the ROK

Qualifications

·    Journalists of Chinese, Japanese, or Korean nationality

(Newspaper, magazines, television, radio, internet media, etc.)

·       5-20 years’ experience in the relevant field

·       Proficiency in English or other CJK language preferred

Expenses

TCS will cover international airfares, accommodations, and expenses occurred during official schedules. Participants will be responsible for visa application fee, health insurance and other personal expenditures for non-official schedule.

Participation

Requirements

a. Full-time participation is required from the all journalists

b. Participants will be asked to share their insights on the media seminar

c. Media coverage of the Program or the TCS
