On September 24, Mr. GAO Jin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Yiwu Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Yiwu City, led a delegation to visit the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS). TCS Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup warmly welcomed the delegation.
SG LEE recalled his past visits to Yiwu, particularly to the renowned E-commerce City, highlighting the unique and pioneering role of Yiwu’s e-commerce industry. He also looked back on the successful co-hosting of the 2024 Trilateral Entrepreneurs Forum in Yiwu, which provided valuable opportunities for business communities of China, Japan, and the ROK.
The Yiwu delegation expressed appreciation for TCS’s long-standing support and partnership, while also sharing the latest updates on the city’s development. Both sides reaffirmed their willingness to continue strengthening cooperation in areas such as economy and trade, as well as youth exchanges, thereby contributing to trilateral friendship and regional collaboration.
