Seminar & Forum Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup Delivered Video Remarks at the 11th ASEAN Plus Three (10+3) Media Cooperation Forum

On September 17, the 11th ASEAN Plus Three (10+3) Media Cooperation Forum was held in Kungming, China. The Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup delivered remarks through a video message. The forum was co-hosted by People’s Daily, and the People’s Government of Yunnan Province.
In his remarks, SG LEE highlighted that the ASEAN Plus Three (APT) framework has long served as a successful model of regional multilateralism, underscoring the close interconnection between ASEAN’s development and trilateral cooperation. Emphasizing the indispensable role of the media, SG LEE called on media outlets in APT countries to bridge perception gaps, foster mutual trust, and bring people closer together through accurate reporting and stories of collaboration. He also reaffirmed TCS’s commitment to strengthening media exchanges and cooperation to advance regional cooperation and shared prosperity.
