Others TCS Delegation Paid a Courtesy Visit to the Ministry of Environmental Protection of China

On February 8, 2018, the 4th Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) Board paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) of China in Beijing and met with Mr. GUO Jing, Director-General of the Department of International Cooperation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed about the upcoming 20th Tripartite Environment Minister’s Meeting (TEMM20) in China as well as TCS’ support under the mechanism. TCS expressed strong willingness to support MEP to successfully hold a remarkable event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the mechanism and received ministry’s positive feedback. Mr. GUO reemphasized the importance of public awareness of environmental protection and acknowledged TCS’ efforts to facilitate this area. He hoped for TCS’ continuous contributions in trilateral environmental cooperation and received TCS’ commitment to further support the mechanism.
