Others TCS Board Members Paid a Courtesy Visit to Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP) of the Republic of Korea (ROK)

On January 12, 2016, TCS board members visited the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP) of the Republic of Korea (ROK) and exchanged views with Mr. CHOI Young-hae, Director-General of International Cooperation Bureau.
TCS Secretary General YANG Houlan expressed the fruitful outcomes of the 6th Trilateral Summit held on November 1st, 2015 in Seoul, where the three leaders agreed to hold the Trilateral Ministerial Meeting on Science & Technology (S&T) at a convenient time and the Trilateral ICT Ministers’ Meeting on a regular basis. SG YANG also conveyed TCS’ strong willingness to support for the trilateral cooperation on Science and Technology (S&T) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Mr. CHOI shared the view of importance of revitalizing those mechanisms and welcomed TCS’ support to this end.
SG YANG introduced TCS’ Trilateral S&T Expert Dialogue held in August, 2015 at the TCS, Seoul and expressed that TCS stands ready to provide continuous support for trilateral mechanism on S&T.
