活动 Young Ambassador Program 2014 Youth Policy Dialogue & Debate on Trilateral Cooperation -2014.08.12 2014.08.08

The TCS is holding a Trilateral Youth Policy Dialogue & Debate on hot issues of the China-Japan- Korea relation on August 12, 2014 in Seoul Citizen Hall. The dialogue & debate is one of the highlights of TCS’ Young Ambassador Program (YAP), which aims to promote youth exchange among China, Japan and Korea to deepen their understanding on trilateral cooperation. Looking to the future of China-Japan- Korea relations, the dialogue & debate presents new thinking of Northeast Asian youth elites and future leaders.

The highlights of the dialogue/debate are 1) It creates a completely new form that the team is NOT divided by nationality. Instead, each team is composed by nationals from China, Japan and Korea. It helps the youths to find common ground in each country’s position, and develop the real sense of trilateral cooperation. 2) The topic will touch upon pressing issues in Northeast Asia. By contributing inputs to the dialogue & debate, the youth elites are to come up with constructive ideas and insights for trilateral cooperation and the future of Northeast Asia.
